This is the analysis of assistant coach Lanfranco Giordani, ahead of tomorrow night’s game: “The game with Olympiacos in the Euroleague gave us a lot of confidence and awareness in our means, despite the fact that we are still missing important elements such as Parker, who we hope to have back in the group as soon as possible. We face a team that we know is behind us on paper, but that doesn’t mean we will approach the game sufficiently or lightly: we face anyone at best because we respect everyone, but we don’t fear anyone.
Our goal is to continue our path of cohesion, improvement and common progress on all our aspects of the game: team spirit is also important and that too is growing. From a technical point of view our defense is improving compared to a few months ago and the offense is more fluid, as we have shown so far, especially with good shooting percentages. Tomorrow, too, we expect a game on the level of the previous ones that sees us looking pretty good and entertaining enough to provide a high-level show for our fantastic fans.”
