Coach Scariolo post game: “Obviously, congrats to Baskonia. They played more aggressively than us. I think we had a decent first quarter, and then the second quarter was terribly. We had a lot of misses underneath [the basket], turnovers, we let them run without even fouling, and then the third and fourth quarters were again equal. The point is that, especially on the road, we cannot allow the home team – pushed by their fans and support – to play easy and get that advantage, which at the end of the day was key. So many excellent looks underneath, so many shots outside, that we didn’t convert. I think our stats inside the paint, 2 points, is extremely clear in explaining the game, and the difference between blocks. I think I’ve never seen a game where a team made 9 blocks and the other 0.”
