Coach Scariolo’s words on the eve of the European game: “We are expecting another game with a high difficulty coefficient derived from the strength of the opponent, certainly one of the best Euroleague teams in recent years, thanks not only to some absolute top-players but also to a system that is certainly very efficient and consolidated, with an experienced coach who has been coaching this team for several years with great technical and leadership qualities. We have a difficult mix ahead of us between the difficulties of the court, the team and the individual talent of some players, but on our side we are competing, we feel we are in the fight to be there until the end, we want to play a good game in Athens. We need to reduce lost balls, play better third quarters, get some minutes back from players who are not yet 100 percent, but who can rejoin the team. We travel with the goal of having a good performance and then we will see how far in terms of results we will be able to compete.”
Semi Ojeleye’s statements on the eve of the match: “Tomorrow we will be facing a tough opponent like Olympiacos. We know that against such a team we have to play at a good level for the whole 40′. We also know the atmosphere that will be there and obviously we will have to be ready for that as well.”
