On the eve of the match against San Martino di Lupari, the first home game for Virtus Segafredo women’s team, coach Giampiero Ticchi spoke about the expectations ahead of tomorrow’s match:
“Tomorrow we will have our second game in the league, which comes after a week in Sardinia. We are a little bit in trouble because of some aches and pains and we will face a team coached by Lorenzo Serventi, whose value we know very well. He is a very good coach because he can give his teams a lot of energy and intensity so we should expect a very tough game for sure. We will have to be good at playing our basketball without being influenced by their aggressiveness: we will not give them the chance to dictate the rules, but we will try to have the reins of the match. We have worked a lot on the game, especially on the defensive end because last week we conceded too many rebounds on defense and that must not happen.”
