Coach Lardo spoke after the game against Costa Masnaga: “First of all, compliments to Costa Masnaga who knew they were a team in good shape. For the first time we weren’t able to play this game: maybe I was expecting a little more pride from the girls but evidently there was no energy. More than half of the girls who took the court were in precarious conditions, besides the absences of Dojkic and Cinili. I have seen the girls in the last few days, some of them have never trained: we were not able to react in the match both at head and physical level. First of all we have to recover health and confidence: today Costa was the worst team to meet. We weren’t aggressive in defense and offense, we attacked the basket badly and we were in trouble. I expected a difficult match. Now let’s get our heads up and think about the game with Schio on Wednesday.”
