After the game against Moncalieri, coach Lino Lardo spoke in press conference: “We made the most of this double home commitment, today we certainly played better than the game against Broni, with great defensive intensity in the first two quarters and great concentration. When you get to this point in the season, all teams try to give their best, even teams like Moncalieri and Broni that are fighting not to be relegated, teams as hungry as we have to be to consolidate our second place in the standings, waiting for Venice’s recoveries. Our path, taking into account all the absences we had during the season, has been positive, now comes the time to capitalize. Sunday we will face a difficult game against Geas where we would like to overturn the negative result of the first leg and see some progress. These last home victories can only give us confidence and optimism for the future.”
