Bologna –
After yesterday’s win on the court of Venice in the Italian derby of the 7DAYS EuroCup, two of the protagonists of the game spoke.
First word to Daniel Hackett, at his debut with the Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s jersey: “I feel happy. We had to overcome Belinelli’s injury, but this team fights: we were able to follow the game plan, we kept them down in the score. It was a great start.”
Also speaking in the postgame on Virtus TV was Amar Alibegovic: “Now begins our final sprint to go as high as possible, and we were good at bringing it home. The key was defense, as well as rebounds: the coach after the first half reminded us to do that, and it went well even if we can improve. Then in the last quarter, at the back, we closed it out. We have a lot of commitments, but let’s take it one game at a time: there may be fatigue but we have a lot of players, a lot of talent, and when needed we have to throw everything we have on the court.”
