Will Clyburn won the best player award of the 30th round of the championship, overtaking rivals Nikola Ivanovic (Germani Brescia) and Kenneth Faried (UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia) in the voting.
Will Clyburn signed one of his best performances of the season right at the most delicate moment: the challenge against the Trapani Shark, decisive for the top of the standings, saw Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s U.S. forward take all the stage. Coming back from a not easy season, marked by some physical ailments, at the threshold of 35 years old he proved once again that he is a player accustomed to the stages that count. Right from the start he served the team with intensity, energy and leadership, taking offensive responsibility in the most complex moments of the game.
