Bologna, February 28 –
Kyle Weems was a guest this morning on Radio Nettuno Bologna Uno and was interviewed by Dario Ronzulli.
“We got back a couple of players, especially Teodosic and Hervey and that’s why these days of rest were important. We missed the players involved in the National team last week and therefore we could not train 5vs5 but we worked a lot on individual and athletic level but above all we had the chance to recover our mental energies and reset a bit everything, it was needed.
March will be a very difficult month, we will definitely have to do better than the past games but we are confident. We want to play for everything. Obviously, we and the fans didn’t like the game against Tortona and we apologize for the performance: there were a lot of fans in Pesaro and we know a lot of them in front of the TV watching the game and their negative reactions are more than legitimate. What we can do is to work and react on the field, also following the example of last year when we won the title after some difficulties. We are not the team that played badly and lost in the Coppa Italia, we are a better team. There are ups and downs as it happened last season and we know that for the fans and the press it is not always easy to understand defeats but it is part of the sport. In this moment the most important thing is how you react to difficulties. It will be necessary to work well in the gym now, in these days, to make a decisive step forward already starting with Thursday’s game in the EuroCup.”
