After the national break, for Virtus Segafredo Bologna, it’s already time to look ahead to the next championship engagement that will see Coach Ticchi’s girls face Passalacqua Ragusa in the tenth day of the LBF championship.
Excellent off-court news also arrived during the week. Kitija Laksa was awarded as basketball player of the year by the Latvian Federation, while Cecilia Zandalasini can boast the title of MVP of the month of November. For her, a month as an absolute protagonist, as witnessed by the numbers: 26 ratings, an average of 21 points (and the first Italian in terms of scoring with an average of 17.8), 72% from two and an incredible 63% from three-point range (13/21), and an average of 4.3 rebounds. For her, also excellent results with the national team with which she reached qualification for the European Championships with two rounds in advance.
