Bologna, July 23 –
Pre-season commitments are official for Virtus Bologna, which after the summer break will assemble Aug. 26 at Palestra Porelli. After a few days of training in Bologna, the team will leave for Asolo for a training camp that will end with the first scrimmage of the season against Verona.
Returning this year for Virtus is participation in the Carlo Lovari Trophy in Lucca, which will also feature Napoli, Livorno and Partizan.
After another scrimmage, behind closed doors, against Trento, Virtus will be on stage at the Paladozza: two consecutive games against Bayern Munich, Saturday, Sept. 13, with open doors (ticket info will be announced in the coming weeks) and Sunday, Sept. 14, with closed doors. The last weekend of the pre-season, before the Super Cup, will see Coach Ivanovic’s team engaged in Tortona, first against Cantù and then against the hosts Bertram.
