At the end of the game with Fenerbahce, Coach Banchi commented on the game in the press conference as follows, “A game that Fenerbache played with more continuity for the entire 40 minutes. We are really sorry for the way we entered the game in the third period, as expected with the urgency to improve something defensively. Because, obviously, in the first 20 minutes we suffered from Motley’s presence under the basket then, in the third period, the level of their aggressiveness, the growth, the increased physicality that we did not overcome as expected and as prepared, made us lose our discipline, the one that allowed us in the first 20 minutes to play precise on offense. We became more hesitant without sharing the ball properly and this gave Fenerbahce the chance to direct the game to them. We have to move forward and take advantage of this kind of moment in the game to find the consistency to compete and stay in the game, because I think, especially in the first half and then of course during the last quarter, for three quarters of the game we were solid enough to stay here and play our game.”
