At the end of the game against Bruschi San Giovanni Valdarno, coach Giampiero Ticchi commented on his team’s performance this way:“I made a request to the girls to give continuity unlike the previous game, never letting the physicality drop and I am very happy with that. In the first quarter we were almost perfect in shooting even if after that we lowered our percentages a bit. Another positive aspect is also the fact that we looked for each other often, with many open shots because we moved optimally without the ball. Now we have two weeks where we will have to work a lot on the physical level because then we will also have the cup that will take away days of training. Meanwhile, on Sunday against Schio, we aim to have all the players available for a definitely important game.”
Beatrice Del Pero: “Today we did well, even if the moment is difficult because we are few. We put intensity from start to finish to make sure we were ready. Obviously when the ball goes in it’s all easier: we by nature are an offensive team, with many players who can make the basket, but also in defense we held up very well by staying focused. Now we aim to regain our strength and some players, so we can be ready next week for the game against Schio.”
