At the end of the last training session before the game against S.Martino di Lupari, these were the words of coach Pierre Vincent: “We haven’t played a game in a long time and when you train more there are risks, I’m happy that the girls are in shape. Our athletic trainer has managed the workload very well to have the team ready and not injured. When there are breaks and training rhythms change there is a risk of losing the rhythm of competition, which can only be managed with competition. On Sunday we will face St. Martin’s, a team that defends a lot and fights, with a good performance. We will have to adapt because we often have difficulties with high pace of play, we have to improve on transitions and how to find easy points. In San Martino we had a lot of opportunities but we missed a lot of shots under the iron and it took us a long time to find the right rhythm, we will be focused and motivated.”
