Thank you to my players for letting me win another trophy and congratulations to Brescia for the final they played despite the difficulties they had.
Have I won in six different countries? I don’t remember, you are telling me, but winning in Italy has always been a dream of mine.
Has a cycle ended with these players? It was a team victory, we made adjustments and everyone in the end made a contribution. For example, Polonara in game 2 against Venice was crucial, without him we probably would have lost that game and I don’t know if there would have been subsequent games. After the game we lost to Red Star very badly I saw the players very sad, I didn’t sleep at night, but from the next day I saw the right determination to win the championship.
A thing about Polonara? I know him from the Baskonia days, I won with him in Spain and I won with him today in Italy. He is a born fighter.
