At the end of the game against Pesaro, valid for Round 14 of LBA regular season, these were the words of coach Luca Banchi: “It was a game where both teams were strongly affected by absences. We tried to find continuity throughout the game, with the first 10′ in which we struggled. Gradually we were more aggressive and more lucid, but the difficulties of these games can also be recognized through the statistical data, when the number of lost balls testifies not only to the aggressiveness of the opponents but above all to our lack of lucidity in some moments in which we got caught up in the inertia of a game that then allowed Pesaro to get dangerously close again. It is a victory that allows us to continue our journey but at the end of which we have to record another serious injury, and on the eve of a double Euroleague round certainly makes our work even more complex. We will try to find the resources once more to be competitive despite such an urgent and difficult situation.”
