Virtus Segafredo Bologna announces that it has reached an agreement with Iliana Rupert until 2024.
Rupert was born in Sèvres on July 12, 2001.
A 193cm big winger/center, she grew up in Centre Federal until 2018, then wore the jersey of Bourges: in the season just ended with the French team she finished with an average of 13.5 points and 7 rebounds per game in the league, figures that earned her the title of league MVP. With Bourges last season she won the EuroCup, in the final against Venice, also taking the MVP of the competition closed with 14.7 points and 7.1 rebounds average per game (25 points and 8 rebounds in the final). Rupert is back from winning the French Championship with Burges, With the French national team he won two medals and silver at Eurobasket 2019 and 2021 and a bronze medal at the last Tokyo Olympics.
