Bologna, March 20 –
The European adventure of Virtus Segafredo Bologna U18 will kick off on Friday, March 22.
The selection coached by V Nere Youth Sector Technical Manager Mattia Largo will make its debut in Dubai. Placed in Group B of the tournament, the bianconeri will take to the parquet of the Coca-Cola Arena to face Zalgiris Kaunas on the first day, Next Generation Team Dubai and Valencia Basket on Saturday, March 23. On Sunday, March 24, the finals that will give access to the Final Four, which will be held in parallel with the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four scheduled in Berlin.
This season is the 21st edition of the annual event, which includes clubs and academies representing 11 different countries. The Under-18 teams come from 15 clubs from the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and eight from the BKT EuroCup, as well as five invited clubs and the Next Generation Teams.
