These were the words of coach Luca Banchi at the end of game 3 of the LBA playoff semifinals<\/strong>: \u201cGame lived on a decidedly convincing approach, 20′ played with lucidity and precision, perhaps not fully capitalizing on the advantage expressed, accomplice a few too many lost balls. Problem that then recurred in the second half, where we lost confidence and had percentages that doomed us, trivially at free throws. If we look at the lost balls, this is a figure that deteriorated our game and gave Venice rhythm and confidence back. We then got to a point-to-point finish where Venice was more accurate than we were. More of a comeback? The objective fact is that the quality of our performance in the second half is nowhere near the first 20 minutes. However, today’s game can also be read on statistical data not yet seen until now: on a court like this, a team of our structure cannot afford 17 lost balls compared to our opponents’ 5. These are too important numbers, just as in such a hard-fought game we needed to be more accurate in the lunette. In the first two games there were no such errors: today these two aspects were too heavy to keep our opponents at a distance.
