At the end of the game against Avenida Salamanca, valid for the 10th regular season game of EuroLeague Women, these were the words of coach Pierre Vincent:<\/strong> “It was a very important victory because it is a proof that we can do it. We lost by two points in Landes, after overtime in Polkowice, here in Salamanca we managed to win without Dojkic on a really difficult court to play on. The girls did a good job defensively, it was tough because the referees whistled a lot but they stayed focused until the end. We lost the thread a little bit in the middle of the fourth quarter, but eventually we were able to find good options and easy shots, even on throw-ins. Everyone took responsibility and I am very happy with that, we have to try to balance better. Often Zandalasini has too much to do and we have to help her. Defensively we did very well, sometimes we miss very simple things that cost a lot, but there is always a chance to improve. We won without making 3-point baskets and that is a good sign. We are back in the race for playoff qualification, now it will be crucial to win the games we will have at home, against Villeneuve d’Ascq and Basket Landes. It will not be easy but I hope we will have the support of the fans because we can still qualify.
