Working toward the start of the Lega Basket Femminile regular season and after the historic Super Cup win, Haley Peters introduced herself to Virtus:<\/strong> “I’m excited to be here, to get to know and play in a new league. I think the style of play is different, I don’t have any particular expectations but I am excited to find out how the season will go and to see if we can form a championship team. Last week was exciting, it was great to be a part of it. I think especially for the girls who also played here last year it was something great to be very proud of. It was a great start to the season and I was glad to be a part of it.”<\/em><\/p>\n On her goals for the season: “My goal is always to play the best basketball I can play, at the highest level, to be the best version of me as a player. I think I bring a lot of experience to the team, I’m one of the older players. I hope to help with communication and help the younger ones, generally do what it takes to make a great team. The girls are great, they are all very kind and helpful. I think our group can do something special. We are all here to work hard, help each other and be part of a good team, it’s great.”<\/em><\/p>\n
