Coach Scariolo’s words at the end of the victory in Game-3 with Brindisi<\/strong>: “Obviously satisfaction for winning a very difficult game, in which our opponents really did everything until the end to win, and they came close, pushed by a great crowd that was an important factor on the court. For our part it took a great third quarter in which we really did all the things we had to do, both offensively and defensively, certainly the first half defensively was not excellent and then we committed in the last 3’\/4′ of the fourth quarter some really trivial mistakes that kept the game alive when we had every chance to close it safely, when we were on that eight, nine point margin on which the score had settled. However, I repeat that it is not at all easy to close a 3-0 series against an opponent with qualities that can put us in trouble, especially in the speed and shooting ability of their little ones. We did not take advantage of the physical superiority that we can have and exploit as we should have or with continuity. But I repeat it is the only series that ended after three games, we have to be satisfied but know that there are still things we have to grow and improve on if we want to pass the next round. We have to work on more or less the same things, when we are focused we do them, when we are a little less we don’t, starting with the circulation of the ball, the ability to unselfishly find the best placed player on offense, the intensity of the five players on the court, at least the four players on defense and with continuity, on the other hand when we are not there with this sense of urgency, with the aggressiveness and concentration, the ball moves a little bit less and some defensive holes we leave. Let’s say stretch the concentration and mental presence to all the players who take the field and for the full 40′. Every game, every series has a different story, then it depends on the opponent who sets the pace of the game very high and we honestly are a team that likes to run. The issue is that we have to be better, as we did in the first game, to contain their transition better and make the shots with a stronger position. It’s not the question of running back and forth, you have to run back and defend, there you definitely, against a team so fast, so perimeter, absurdly more perimeter and fast today, than usual, it’s not easy, I recognize that, I know that very well, but it’s not easy to win a playoff round, it’s not easy to win 3-0, then it’s not going to be easy for sure to win a semifinal.
