Coach Sergio Scariolo spoke in the press conference after the game against Tortona<\/strong>: “First of all, let’s start by congratulating Tortona on an absolutely deserved victory. It’s a well-deserved victory, they have a very good roster, an excellent structure and they have a very good organisation both offensively and defensively, and by not playing in the cups they can prepare better for these games. We came from a tremendous effort and the impact was hard. The team chased and fought and we almost came in touch but perhaps we had spent everything even if I appreciate the effort in the second half while the defence in the first I think was not up to it. It’s not easy and you need great strength and energy. Abbas will be very important for us when he returns because the guys we called up today are still very immature for this level. Abi has crazy character and determination and a superior level so I am confident that in a couple of weeks he will start training and will do his best to be ready. I am confident that he will come in and help us out. Tortona started immediately with great precision and clarity of ideas while we didn’t have the same impact as two days ago regardless of what the opponent does.
