The clubs that will take part in this season’s EuroLeague Women as well as the teams that will compete in the Qualifiers for a Regular Season berth in Europe’s flagship club competition were confirmed on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
A total of 22 clubs registered for the 2022-23 edition of the EuroLeague Women and 13 of those were granted a direct berth in the Regular Season, based on criteria that take into consideration their respective National Federation ranking.<\/p>\n
The three remaining spots in the Regular Season will find their rightful owners upon the completion of three round-robin Qualifier tournaments, of three clubs each. Only the winner of each of those three tournaments will earn the coveted ticket to the competition.<\/p>\n
FIBA Europe also announced that the draw for both Regular Season groups and for the Qualifier tournaments will take place in Munich on Friday, July 15.<\/p>\n
