Bologna, September 29 –

 

After winning the fourth Super Cup in the club’s history, the V Nere will officially make their league debut on Sunday, October 1, on an away game against Scafati. Before the official start, the club has defined the technical staff that will support Coach Banchi throughout the season.

In addition to the confirmations, a new face will sit on the bench alongside the Virtus Segafredo coach; in fact, the Club welcomes Lassi Tuovi to the role of First Assistant Coach. Born Dec. 31, 1986, Tuovi was head coach at Strasbourg from 2020 to 2022 and, also since the ’22 season, has headed the Finnish national team, his place of origin. Coming off the 2023 FIBA World Cup, the new bianconero assistant coach will continue his journey with the Finnish national team.
