The Trofeo delle Province, Under 15 category, was held on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18.
The four selections of Bologna-Ferrara, Modena-Reggio Emilia, Parma-Piacenza and Romagna competed on the parquet of the PalaItis in Porretta Terme.
The mini tournament saw the Bologna-Ferrara selection prevail in the semifinals over Parma-Piacenza 115 to 41 and the Romagna selection in the finals 102 to 69.
Several athletes from the Virtus Youth Sector appeared on the roster of the Bologna-Ferrara selection: Alessandro Berlati, Livio Berlingeri, Riccardo Palai and Federico Venturi, as well as Luca Magagnoli, who will wear the black-and-white jersey from this season after growing up in the ranks of Polisportiva Pontevecchio.
Instead, the coach of the Under 15 Eccellenza group Matteo Grazi has joined the staff.
