Coach Scariolo spoke in press conference after the game with Tortona: “I congratulate Tortona, because they had a wonderful season and fought, even today, until the end. From our side we are obviously satisfied to have reached another final but we continue to have hunger and ambition. Honestly we played a very good game, with some physiological drops, without running any danger at the moment when we wanted to keep some players on the field who need to regain confidence. Now we will disconnect for a moment and start preparing for the next competition. The last two games of the series were quality games, in many moments we recognized ourselves of our level, as the best Virtus. The goal is to stretch those minutes, to get important contributions from as many players as possible. One of the things I’m most proud of is getting this far with 12, if not more, players involved.”
