Virtus Segafredo Bologna announces that it has reached an agreement with Jordan Mickey.
Jordan Mickey was born in Dallas on July 9, 1994. A 203cm power forward, after training with the LSU Tigers he landed in the NBA wearing the Boston Celtics’ jersey from 2015 to 2017 and the Miami Heat in the 2017/18 season.
After three seasons overseas, Mickey arrives in Europe: in 2018/19 he plays with Chimki and later at Real Madrid where he wins a Spanish Cup and a Spanish Supercup. In 2020 the return to Russia, first to Chimki and then to Zenit St. Petersburg: in the season just ended with the Zenit jersey he won the VTB League as an absolute protagonist, winning the individual awards of Finals MVP and Best Defender of the Season.
Mickey finished the 2021/22 season averaging 10 points in the Euroleague and 15 in the Russian league.
